Intro Dungeon – The Sacred Sanctum
The Sacred Sanctum is a dungeon that appears as part of the introduction of the game. It is the only part of the game that has been mapped out and implemented (partially) into the playable demo (which is no longer playable on any OS, I tried and failed). The Sacred Sanctum contains the Sacred Orb of the Alkarev, holding the key to the divine power that is coveted by powerful alien species hidden on Earth.
Dungeon 1 – Water-themed dungeon: Atlantis
This is the first dungeon in the game.
Following the events of the introduction, Atlantis rises from the ocean floor to emerge as a technological marvel holding secrets of the technologies of the Alkarev. The main character sets out to investigate and claim the first out of four keys necessary to master his power as the Chosen One.
Atlantis holds many more secrets in the second act of the game – but for that, a submarine expedition is needed.
Dungeon 2 – Fire-themed dungeon: The Descent into the Mines
The Descent into the Mines is the second dungeon of the game. The Mines are an abandoned mining facility inspired from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess’ second dungeon and Metroid Prime’s Phazon Mines/Magmoor Caverns, with a hellish twist similar to what you’d find in more recent PS5 Doom games.
The main character descends deep in the crust of the earth to find the second key that will help him unlock his powers, only to discover a base of operations of the Kraints (the evil/Luciferian alien species).
Dungeon 4 – Desert-themed temple: The Sand Temple
The Sand Temple is the fourth dungeon of the game. Long forgotten, this temple in the middle of the Egyptian desert contains surprising archeological artifacts that point to humanity’s path being controlled from the shadow by the extraterrestrial forces hidden on Earth.
The main character ventures there to find the fourth and last key necessary to unlock mastery of his powers as Chosen One before the war for reconquering Earth breaks out.
