Summary
This page presents my artistic and creative profile. I start with this page, although my weakest, because this is where I want to grow the most. The Computation Arts program for me is a golden opportunity to work on my artistic skills and bring them to the level of my technical and entrepreneurial profile, which are much more developed and mature. The pieces enclosed herein span a large period of time.

Portfolio pieces
Portfolio piece 1 – Celestial Power
Period
2007 – 2013 (High school, early CEGEP; 14 - 19 yo)
Medium
Digital and traditional: Graphite, Digital Painting, Pixel Art, RPG Maker XP (game engine)
Disclaimer
It should be noted that this piece does not represent my current artistic abilities. See the pieces below for a better showcase of my artistic abilities.
Summary
Celestial Power was my pet project for my whole adolescence – a narrative-driven action RPG where players wield a lost celestial force, navigate the remnants of a forgotten interstellar war, and decide the fate of a power beyond comprehension.
I wrote extensive lore, scenes, plot beats & twists, drew artworks, built assets for RPG Maker XP, developed a forum and promotional assets for my game (forum + promo assets not shown in gallery), and developed a demo showcasing the prologue/lore of the game, with slideshow, animations, and a few scenes & playable maps.
Why is this a great showcase?
- Demonstrates my creativity and ability to create a cohesive narrative/world
- Demonstrates my ability to self-teach, especially when back then YouTube wasn’t a thing and I had to learn Photoshop, Pixel Art, and RPG Maker XP by scouring online forums and the internet for tutorials to learn.

Portfolio piece 2 – UI/UX Design
Period
2020 – Today
Medium
Digital: Figma design
Summary
A video showcasing the various UI/UX designs I have done in Figma for Arthur Intelligence inc, in my capacity as CTO.
Why is this a great showcase?
- Demonstrates my understanding of core UI/UX concepts such as usability, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and interaction design
- Demonstrates my ability to use Figma and its features to create clean, reusable designs
Portfolio piece 3 – Classical drawings
Period
2020 – 2023
Medium
Graphite, charcoal (giraffe)
Summary
Between 2020 and 2022, I followed classical drawing classes at l’ACADEM (Acedemie des Beaux-Arts de Montréal). This gallery is composed of still-life drawings. Drawings for which I still have a reference are shown beside them. The intent of these pieces is realism and reproduction of form through structure and analysis. The second gallery is composed of gesture and structure practices.
Why is this a great showcase?
- Demonstrates my attention to detail, light, shadow, and accurate proportions
- Highlights ability to render textures, surfaces, and depth (somewhat) convincingly
- Reflects my commitment to refining skills through careful study and execution

Portfolio piece 4 – Anime-stylized portraits
Period
2023 – 2024
Medium
Graphite
Summary
In 2023 I stopped attending l’ACADEM because I started to feel like my approach to classical analytical/observation drawing undermined my ability to draw fluidly with abstraction and stylization. I thus chose to replace this practice with drawing small 20-25 minutes portraits, halfway between Japanese animation stylization and realism.
Why is this a great showcase?
- Demonstrates my commitment to learning and growing as an artist
- Demonstrates my nascent ability to stylize from real-life references

Portfolio piece 5 – Abstract/Intuitive artworks
Period
2024 – Today
Medium
Markers, colored pencils, wax crayons, acrylic, watercolor… but mostly markers 😄
Summary
In 2024 I kept pursuing the ideal to bring more freedom and fluidity to my art. I wanted to change my approach to drawing from a very intellectual to a very intuitive and flowing style. I chose markers as the primary medium because markers don’t allow you to etch/sketch – you have to commit to what you do. These are explorations of patterns, textures, and autonomic drawing.
Why is this a great showcase?
- Demonstrates my willingness to reinvent myself, and break my limitations
- Demonstrates my curiosity and interest in new modes of expression

Why is this important for my candidacy?
- Expanding storytelling through interactivity: I have experience in worldbuilding and narrative-driven design and seek to refine these skills to craft meaningful, immersive, and socially relevant interactive experiences. I use worldbuilding and game design to question how digital media shape perception, engagement, and storytelling.
- Refining my conceptual and theoretical approach: While I have technical proficiency, I need the structured critique and discourse this program offers to fully articulate the artistic, cultural, and social impact of my work.
- The right environment for growth: This program offers the space to connect computation, interactivity, and artistic expression while critically shaping my creative direction. I am eager to collaborate with peers from diverse artistic backgrounds, learning from their perspectives and integrating new approaches into my work.
- Bridging UI/UX and artistic exploration: My work in design has deepened my understanding of interaction, but I want to expand it into expressive, experimental, and conceptual domains.
- A path toward artistic authorship in gaming: This program aligns perfectly with my goal of becoming an indie game creative director, providing the artistic foundation and critical thinking necessary to craft compelling, thought-provoking experiences.
